On my face I used Garniers BB Cream ( Review here) and a little bit of The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 02. The only lip product from my collection that came close (but still wasn’t vibrant enough) was MAC´s Lipglass in Rose Hue. To add some drama, I tightlined the outer corner of my upper and lower waterline and applied Artdeco Ultra Effect Mascara. Then I took MAC “Saffron” into my crease, sheering it out with a blending brush. Makeup is all about leaving your comfort zone sometimes!Īfter priming my lid and lower lash line with MAC Paint Pot in “Painterly”, I used MAC “Shimmer Moss” on an angled brush around my upper lash line and the outer half of the lower lash line, layering the shadow for color intensity. Greens with green eyes? Orange in the crease? I figured I would look like a parrot, but decided to give it a go anyway. The combination of green and orange, paired with a pigmented pink lip aren’t what I expect to see in spring.Īnd they aren’t something I would ever think of wearing, either.

What drew me to this campaign (despite the thought of macarons) was the eye makeup.

Not that I am complaining, I love France and going to Paris in spring (and eating my body weight in macarons) is something I would totally do. Paris and France really have a moment this spring. This time I chose Lancome´s French Innocence Collection. Short story even shorter, I try to recreate the makeup worn by a model in the ad for a seasonal campaign with the makeup I already own.
